Our Story
❦
Every great business starts with a little luck.
While passing through the quiet village of Koekange, Kok noticed a charming old building with a "For Rent" sign in the window. Before continuing his journey, he had already made up his mind. This would become the pancake house he had dreamed about for years.
Not long afterwards, his old friend Cloo returned from France. Having spent years building a respected reputation as a bookmaker in the world of horse racing, he saw an unused room in the back of the restaurant and smiled:
"You've got room for one more business."
From that day on, freshly baked pancakes and honest horse-racing odds shared the same roof. Some guests came for breakfast, others for the races. The wisest stayed for both.
